In a recent update, the family of a Baltimore County Police officer who was critically injured in the line of duty has provided more information regarding his health status.

Officer Paul Catalfamo, 22, was shot multiple times on June 7 while responding to a 911 call concerning an individual reportedly exposing themselves along the Milford Mill Trail.

According to a GoFundMe campaign created by his sisters, Toni Merryman and Ashley Catalfamo, Officer Catalfamo has sustained serious injuries, including broken C5-C6 vertebrae in his neck, resulting in spinal cord trauma.

After nearly ten days at Shock Trauma, he has since been released but faces a challenging recovery process ahead.
