BALTIMORE — The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) has announced that the entire Baltimore metro subway system will be temporarily closed for upgrades starting on Friday, November 8, at 8 p.m.
The subway stations are expected to remain closed until 4 a.m. on Monday, November 11, during which time free shuttle bus services will be available for commuters.
The MTA advises all riders to plan for additional travel time as they navigate the shuttle system between stations during the closure.
