Baltimore County Police are currently investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning in Woodlawn.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of gunfire on Whitehead Court, located off Security Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered a 26-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident marks the 11th homicide in Baltimore County for the year, and it is the third such case reported within a single week.
Just last Tuesday, two siblings were found shot to death in their Gwynn Oak residence on Talles Road. The victims, identified as 9-year-old Steve Allen and 15-year-old Giovanna Myrie, were discovered by their parents upon returning home that evening. As of now, no arrests have been made in that case either.
