A woman has reported being raped while attending a medical training course at the Fenote Training Academy in Silver Spring, Maryland. The alleged incident occurred on the evening of May 6.
Montgomery County Police have arrested 58-year-old Melesse Semegne, the founder and CEO of Fenote, who turned himself in to authorities on June 14. He is currently being held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on July 10.
The Fenote Training Academy, located on Fenton Street, offers various specialized courses, including first-aid, CPR, AED, and Basic Life Support across the DMV area.
According to police, the victim reported that Semegne was the only individual present when she arrived for the class. Authorities are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
