Baltimore Police are actively looking for assistance from the public in identifying six young male suspects involved in a violent robbery attempt against a 74-year-old man.
The incident occurred on July 7 at approximately 3:46 a.m. in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, situated in the Liberty Square neighborhood of north Baltimore.
Authorities have released surveillance footage showing the assault, which highlights the alarming nature of the crime. One suspect was seen wielding a gray assault-style rifle, while another brandished a sword. The video also depicts the suspects throwing various items at the victim during the attack.
