Baltimore Police are actively searching for a group of six individuals involved in the assault of a 74-year-old man outside a 7-Eleven store in Liberty Square.

The incident occurred on July 7 at approximately 3:46 a.m. on the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, where the suspects confronted the victim as he exited the convenience store.

According to police reports, the assailants, described as younger males, approached the elderly man and surrounded him. Surveillance footage released by the police shows one suspect brandishing a gray assault-style rifle, while another wielded a sword, threatening the victim.

The situation escalated as the group forced the man against the store's front doors, subsequently throwing crates and other objects at him. The attack culminated with the suspects pushing the victim to the ground and physically assaulting him.
