The Baltimore Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Southeast District.

On June 11, around 3:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of Jefferson Street following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they discovered a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. The victim was promptly taken to a nearby hospital, where he is expected to survive his injuries.

Detectives from the Southeast District have identified a crime scene on the 400 block of N. Milton Avenue as part of their investigation.
