Baltimore Police reported that three men were shot on Friday in the city’s northeast region, specifically near a commercial strip.
At approximately 4:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of East Cold Spring Lane, where they discovered two 24-year-olds and one 25-year-old with gunshot wounds. All three victims were taken to a local hospital and are currently in stable condition, according to police.
A photographer from The Banner observed over 30 large-caliber shell casings scattered on the ground outside the businesses in the area.
During the investigation, law enforcement officials restricted access to the scene, keeping individuals inside a nearby barbershop. Officers and detectives were seen moving throughout the parking lot and entering various businesses as they gathered evidence.
The police cordoned off the entire block, blocking vehicle access to East Cold Spring Lane between Loch Raven Boulevard and Kelway Road. Additionally, a portion of Cold Spring Lane was closed to traffic.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to reach out to detectives at 410-396-2444. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-866-7LOCK-UP or submit tips through their website.
