BALTIMORE — A fire that broke out in the Hampden neighborhood on Saturday afternoon led to injuries for two firefighters.

Fire crews were dispatched to the 800 block of W. 37th Street after receiving reports of the blaze. The fire quickly spread to neighboring homes, necessitating the activation of a second alarm.

In total, three homes were affected by the fire, with one of them being unoccupied at the time. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the two firefighters were reported to be minor.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
