DutiesEducation
:  Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Applicants must be enrolled in CCBC Cybersecurity, IT, or related program, and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Completion or verification of prior CCBC course with a grade of “B” or better in CSIT 111 – Fundamentals of Logic and Design, DCOM 101 – Introduction to Data Communications, and DCOM 217 – CCNA I Introduction to Networks.
Experience
:  None
Requirements to apply for the apprenticeship.
1.  Students must have a declared major in Cybersecurity, IT, or related fields.

2.  Students may not have completed more than fifty percent of the 362 hours of apprenticeship-related instruction.

3.  Students must have reliable transportation. The security operations centers are in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County

4.  The student must be 18 years of age or older.

5.  Ability to perform job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

6.  Preferred Qualifications

     a.  DCOM 101 Introduction to Data Communications

     b.  DCOM 217- CCNA I Introduction to Networks

     c.  CSIT 111 Fundamentals of Logic and Design

     d.  A minimum of 3.0 GPA at CCBC
Notes
:

1.  Candidates may be evaluated for DCOM 101 & CSIT 111 competencies.

2. Candidates may be evaluated with a CISCO Academy check for DCOM 217 competencies.

3. CCBC has the sole responsibility to evaluate prior experience and training of qualified applicants to determine if advanced credit is to be granted.
