The Elkridge Club, one of Maryland's premier private country clubs, is seeking an experienced and motivated Line Cook to join our professional culinary team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members through high-quality food, creativity, and teamwork.
Whether preparing a la carte dining, member events, corporate functions, weddings, or elegant multi-course dinners, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
What You'll Do
Prepare and execute menu items at all kitchen stations
Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event service
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs
Contribute ideas for menu development and daily features
Help create memorable dining experiences for our members and guests
What We're Looking For
Culinary degree preferred
Previous experience as a line cook in a restaurant, hotel, country club, or banquet facility
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Creative, detail-oriented, and dependable
Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
Food Safety Certification preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
