Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties involved in maintaining Goucher College landscapes, grounds, roads, etc. in accordance with established schedules and instructions.
Essential Job Functions:
25 % B. Perform the construction of special landscape projects including but not limited to planters, planting beds and landscape timbers, and other plant material.
20 % C. Perform maintenance on grounds equipment as assigned.
10 % D. Perform trash removal as assigned.
5 % E. Perform road repair as required.
5 % F. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Certified pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment. Training and licensing will be provided by the College.
Professional Experience:
Required: Work requires a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the maintenance of grounds and landscape including the operation of associated equipment, or other equivalent experience.
Starting salary for this position is $19.29 per hour
