Come join us at The Baltimore Montessori - Locust Point as a Lead Toddler/Primary Montessori Teacher! The shift is 9 am - 6 pm. As a Lead Montessori Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and documenting your student's progress.

High School Diploma or GEDMontessori Teacher Certification Required1 year prior experience working in a certified child development center90 clock hours or equivalent of approved early childhood coursework - MSDE certificationStrong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.Nice-to-haves

Bachelors or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred.Montessori credentials preferred; a willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.Benefits
