Role Summary

Owns the development and execution of key training programs across Global Distribution intermediary and institutional businesses . Gathers and organizes training requirements contributes to prioritization of training initiatives to drive adoption by business teams . Leverages insights gained from stakeholder interactions to recommend enhanced processes, reports, tools, etc., for improving training effectiveness and adoption. Takes the lead in conceptualizing and developing enhancements.  Partners closely across global sales management team and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive the most impactful training initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Training Program Ownership — Owns the development and execution of training programming in key areas, including new hire onboarding, consultative skills development, Investments and Products, and sales process implementation.  Specific program focus areas to be determined based on the successful candidate’s background and skill set.
  • Achieves Business Results —Oversees cross-functional teams, which could include sales, marketing, investments, product and enablement associates. Ensures training programs contribute to business results through the establishment of specific objectives/action items.  Conducts ongoing measurement and gathers feedback to assess training effectiveness and course correct as needed.
  • Coaching and Mentoring —Periodically supports leadership team in the onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching of new team members.
  • Innovation – Relentless focus on leveraging the latest tools and technologies to deliver training and achieve scale in new and innovative ways

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 5+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred:

  • Sales training experience, or sales experience, at an asset management firm
  • Strong communication/presentation and/or training facilitation skills
  • Training design skills are a plus
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Light video editing a plus

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

Please review the job posting for the location of this specific opportunity.

$96,500.00 - $164,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$105,000.00 - $180,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$120,000.00 - $205,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the roleBase salary is only one component of our total compensation packageEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
