As a Security Officer Welcome Center Specialist in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet guests, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining front desk logs.Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.Support security-related operations by monitoring cameras, alarm indicators, and entry activity from the front desk and reporting concerns in a timely manner.Assist employees, guests, and contractors with directions, visitor processing, and security-related questions while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location. Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:
