BALTIMORE — A 17-year-old male was taken into custody on Saturday afternoon for possessing a firearm at the AFRAM Festival, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. while an officer was conducting foot patrol at Druid Hill Park, where the festival was taking place. The officer observed the teenager exhibiting behavior that raised suspicions of potential weapon possession.
Following this observation, the officer alerted additional officers in the area. The teenager was subsequently arrested without incident, and a firearm was recovered during the arrest.
