Baltimore Police have made an arrest following the shooting of an off-duty officer that occurred on July 11 in the 2100 block of Sinclair Lane.
The officer sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.
Authorities have charged 29-year-old Christopher Leigh with attempted first-degree murder in connection with the incident. Leigh was apprehended in Baltimore County and has since been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
