Anne Arundel County Police are currently investigating the death of a pedestrian in Glen Burnie, which may involve a hit-and-run incident.

Officers from the Northern District responded to reports of a serious situation on Cedar Drive at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Wednesday night. Upon arrival, they discovered a 31-year-old man who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

While the man's identity has not yet been disclosed, preliminary findings suggest that he may have been struck by a vehicle that did not remain at the location. The police department's crash reconstruction team has since taken over the investigation and is awaiting the results of an autopsy to further clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
