Baltimore authorities are actively investigating the case of a missing 55-year-old man, Charles Distance, who was last seen around December 10, 2025. Recent developments suggest he may have been spotted in Middle River.
On July 14, 2026, police spoke with the individual who reported Distance missing. She shared that an anonymous source claimed to have seen him in the Middle River area.
In response to this information, the Baltimore Police Department reached out to the Baltimore County Police to coordinate efforts in locating Distance. A missing persons flyer has also been distributed to aid in the search.
Authorities are particularly concerned for Distance's well-being as he is known to suffer from depression and schizophrenia and is currently on medication for these conditions.
