Baltimore Man Sought by Authorities After Probation Violation

BALTIMORE — Authorities are actively searching for Aaron Grant Zeigler, a 38-year-old man from Baltimore, who is wanted for violating federal probation terms as well as failing to appear in court.

A warrant for Zeigler's arrest was issued in September 2025, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. He is accused of breaching the conditions of his post-supervised release related to a previous drug and gun investigation.

Zeigler's legal troubles date back to November 2018, when Baltimore Police conducted surveillance in the Madison Park area. Officers observed several individuals engaging in drug transactions, one of whom was identified as Zeigler.

As police approached, the group dispersed, and during a brief foot chase, Zeigler discarded a bag that was later recovered by officers. Inside the bag, authorities found a loaded Smith & Wesson revolver, which Zeigler was prohibited from possessing due to a felony conviction.

He was subsequently charged and accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person. Zeigler was sentenced to 37 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

However, in July 2025, he faced a misdemeanor theft charge in Baltimore City, which violated his federal probation. On October 31, 2025, he failed to appear for his scheduled trial related to the theft, prompting authorities to issue another warrant for his arrest.

Zeigler's criminal history spans over two decades, including prior drug-related arrests and a robbery spree in 2008 that led to a five-year prison sentence. He has a history of probation violations as well.
