Baltimore Man Sought in Connection with Missing Girl and Sexual Abuse Charges

BALTIMORE — Authorities are on the lookout for a Baltimore man, Alexis Pinto, who is wanted on multiple charges including sexual abuse of a minor. Investigators believe he may have fled the area with a 14-year-old girl.

A warrant for Pinto's arrest was issued on April 10, 2026, after he allegedly admitted to being in a relationship with the juvenile. The U.S. Marshals Service has since reported that Pinto's current whereabouts are unknown.

According to court documents, a detective from the Baltimore Police Department’s Sex Offense Child Abuse Unit was alerted by a Child Protective Services worker on April 9, 2026. The worker indicated that Pinto had picked up the girl in Newark, New Jersey, and transported her to Baltimore, where she has been living with him since January 2026.

Investigators uncovered probable cause suggesting that Pinto was involved in unlawful sexual conduct with the minor. On April 10, detectives went to Pinto's residence in Fallstaff, where both he and the girl were present and willing to talk.

Pinto reportedly confessed to having an intimate relationship with the girl, who later corroborated this claim during a forensic interview at the Center for Hope in Baltimore. The juvenile disclosed that the relationship had been ongoing since December 25, 2025, but did not report any instances of physical or mental abuse.

After the interview, the victim received additional support services while the investigation continued. However, as investigators prepared to file formal charges, Pinto fled the scene.

Authorities now believe that Pinto may be traveling between Pennsylvania and Ohio, potentially accompanied by the missing juvenile. He has ties to New Jersey as well, raising concerns about public safety given his violent criminal history, which includes a DUI arrest in August 2025.

Officials are urging the public to assist in locating Pinto and the missing girl. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 202-819-5058.
