The Baltimore Police Department has concluded that a shooting incident from April was self-inflicted, prompting the removal of the case from the city's annual non-fatal shooting tally.
On April 11, at around 5:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting victim who had arrived at a local hospital for treatment. Upon their arrival, they found a 42-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her leg.
The injury was classified as non-life-threatening at the time of the incident.
