Baltimore Police Department Welcomes College Interns for Unique Program

This summer, nearly a dozen students from Coppin State and Morgan State universities are gaining firsthand experience within the department.

The program offers paid, immersive training that spans 40 hours a week over several weeks, allowing these students to engage directly with the inner workings of the police force. The initiative is designed to reshape perceptions of law enforcement, particularly among young individuals from urban backgrounds.
