Body of Missing 72-Year-Old Darlene Campbell Discovered in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Police Department reported that the remains of 72-year-old Darlene Campbell were discovered on Monday afternoon in East Baltimore.

Authorities found her body inside a building located in the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue. The Medical Examiner’s Office is set to perform an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death.

Cambell had been reported missing on June 18 after last being seen in the 300 block of East 28th Street. In an effort to locate her, the Baltimore Police shared a video on social media showing her walking down a street. A community search for Campbell took place on Sunday, beginning at King and Kennedy Park.
