Baltimore County fire crews responded to a significant accident in Pikesville on Wednesday, where a bus collided with a building, resulting in up to 30 injuries, including one individual in critical condition.
The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Reisterstown Road, prompting a large deployment of medical units to the scene, as confirmed by Baltimore County Fire Department spokesperson Andrew Laird.
In response to the situation, officials have called for a medical evacuation helicopter, the Shock Trauma Go Team, and two medical ambulance buses from nearby jurisdictions.
Complicating rescue efforts are downed power lines caused by the crash. Baltimore Gas and Electric has yet to respond to inquiries regarding the situation.
