Charges Dropped Against Bailey Zimmerman Following Casino Incident

Charges against musician Bailey Zimmerman have been dropped following an incident at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he was accused of a drunken rampage.

The events unfolded on May 27, the day Zimmerman was scheduled to perform at the venue’s amphitheater. Surveillance footage reportedly captured him appearing intoxicated throughout the afternoon.

During the incident, Zimmerman allegedly swung a guitar, striking the ground multiple times, and pushed over musical equipment. He also reportedly spat in the direction of a security officer. As a result of his behavior, the casino staff requested that he and his team leave the property.

Initially, Zimmerman resisted boarding the transportation arranged for him, prompting a response from Sandia Police, who ultimately escorted him off the premises. Due to the incident, he canceled his concert that evening, citing illness as the reason.

This incident follows a previous apology from Zimmerman in January, where he admitted to being “too drunk to play” at another performance, expressing disappointment in himself for not delivering the show his audience expected.
