Coastal Flood Advisory for the Baltimore Area (Minor)

Coastal Flood Advisory issued June 17 at 9:45PM EDT until June 18 at 4:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Southeast Harford County.

* WHEN...From 10 AM to 4 PM EDT Thursday, especially around the
time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 4.5 feet, portions of the Havre de Grace Yacht
Basin are flooded, along with Hutchins Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above
normal. The next high tide at Havre de Grace is at 12:54 AM and
12:51 PM.

What to do

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
