Discovery of Two Fetuses on MTA Bus Shocks East Baltimore Community

BALTIMORE -- In a disturbing incident, two fetuses were discovered on a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus in East Baltimore on Saturday afternoon, leading to an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

Police responded to a call around 12:40 p.m. in the vicinity of the 2500 block of Kirk Avenue after the bus driver reported finding a fetus on one of the seats. Following this initial discovery, a second fetus was located shortly thereafter.

The Medical Examiner's Office has since taken custody of both fetuses as part of the investigation. Homicide detectives are working to ascertain the details surrounding this tragic situation, including whether a crime occurred or if it was related to a health emergency.
