A tragic accident occurred early Tuesday morning in Frederick County, resulting in the death of a Texas woman. The Frederick County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on Windsor Road, where a 1995 Honda Accord was involved in a crash.
The vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old man from Frederick, veered off the right side of the two-lane road and collided with a culvert. Authorities believe that speeding may have played a role in the incident.
At the time of the crash, the driver had two passengers in the vehicle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. One of the passengers declined medical treatment, while the other, identified as Kaylee Hottle from Kyle, Texas, succumbed to her injuries later.
