ODENTON, Md. — A head-on collision in Odenton on Monday afternoon resulted in the death of an 85-year-old woman.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:25 PM on Piney Orchard Parkway, close to Ransom Drive. According to reports, a woman driving south in a Lexus SUV lost control while navigating a curve, veering into the opposite lane.
In this lane, she collided with a Hyundai Tucson. While both drivers emerged with only minor injuries, Amelia Knuckey, a passenger in the Hyundai, died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by local authorities.
