A serious motorcycle accident on I-95 caused significant traffic disruptions during the morning rush hour on Tuesday. The incident occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on the northbound lanes, just before the Russell Street exit (MD-295) in Baltimore City.
As a result of the crash, all lanes were blocked, leading to traffic congestion that stretched back to I-695 at times. In response to the situation, state highway crews implemented a detour, directing drivers onto Caton Avenue to alleviate the buildup.
After several hours of traffic delays, all lanes were finally reopened by 11 a.m.
