BALTIMORE — A member of the Baltimore City Fire Department suffered a minor injury while battling a two-alarm fire on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews were called to the scene in the 1100 block of Cedarcroft Road at approximately 5:00 p.m. after reports of a dwelling fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-story brick home with visible smoke emanating from the front and flames actively burning at the rear of the structure.

The fire has since been extinguished, and the injured firefighter was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Authorities have stated that the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
