ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Two firefighters are receiving treatment for minor injuries following a significant fire that impacted two townhomes in Ellicott City.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Monday on Legends Way, located near Turf Valley Resort. Fire crews from Howard County Fire and EMS responded to the scene.
Reports indicate that the roof of at least one of the affected townhomes collapsed during the firefighting efforts. Fortunately, the fire was brought under control by around 8 a.m.
As of now, the cause of the fire remains undetermined, and further details regarding the nature of the firefighters' injuries have not been disclosed.
