Firefighters Respond to Multiple Blazes, Including Four-Alarm Fire in Curtis Bay

BALTIMORE — Firefighters in Baltimore were engaged in a series of fire emergencies during the Fourth of July weekend, notably a four-alarm fire at a warehouse in Curtis Bay.

Emergency crews rushed to the 1600 block of Filbert Street where they found the Sherwin-Williams warehouse fully engulfed in flames. The situation escalated quickly, prompting officials to classify it as a working fire and subsequently raise it to a fourth alarm.

Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries associated with this incident. This fire was one of two significant blazes reported over the holiday weekend.

In addition to the warehouse fire, firefighters also responded to a two-alarm fire on Boston Street, located in the 2600 block. Units from Baltimore Fire Department were actively involved in operations at the scene, and updates regarding that incident were forthcoming.
