On Wednesday evening, four Teslas caught fire at a dealership in Owings Mills, prompting a response from the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Fire crews arrived at the scene, located on the 9400 block of Reisterstown Road, to address the electric vehicle fire.
Images released by the fire department depict the damaged vehicles, which were severely scorched.
Hazardous materials teams were also deployed to assist with cooling the cars and monitoring the surrounding area for safety.
The Maryland Department of Environment was requested to evaluate the situation further.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or threats to the community. The cause of the fires remains under investigation.
