ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — An office building in Glen Burnie has been cleared of occupants following concerns about structural integrity. Fire crews identified issues related to the parking area of Empire Tower, a ten-story building situated in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway.
Authorities have urged the public to steer clear of the area while crews assess the safety of the structure. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries, and all individuals inside the building were evacuated safely.
A representative from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department confirmed that there has been no structural collapse, and the evacuation was conducted as a precautionary measure. Fire crews remain on site to evaluate the situation further.
