The footage shows the suspects, dressed in hoodies, knocking the elderly man to the ground multiple times and hurling objects at him.
In a particularly alarming moment, one assailant appears to aim an assault rifle at the victim while another wields a sword. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor bruises from the encounter.
This incident has raised concerns about safety in the Northern District, even as Mayor Brandon Scott recently highlighted a decrease in violent crime in the city.
