BALTIMORE — A man has been taken into custody following the fatal stabbing of a woman in the Harwood neighborhood of Baltimore on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, officers responded to a report of a cutting incident at a residence in the 400 block of E. 25th Street around 1:40 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 56-year-old woman suffering from multiple lacerations.
The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Authorities arrested a 50-year-old man at the scene. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
