ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Department of Health has issued a health advisory for Carrollton Manor Beach, effective June 18, due to concerning levels of bacteria in the water.
Residents and visitors are advised to refrain from swimming, waterskiing, and any other activities that involve direct contact with the water until further notice. The advisory will remain in effect until subsequent testing confirms that the water quality meets acceptable standards.
This advisory marks the third beach in the area to receive such a warning. Just a day prior, advisories were also issued for Bayside Beach and Upper Magothy Beach, both of which are experiencing similar high bacteria levels.
