BALTIMORE — Authorities are investigating a tragic accident that occurred early Tuesday morning on Interstate 95 in Baltimore City, which left one individual dead.

The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police reported that the crash took place on July 14, shortly before 7 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95, near the Russell Street exit (Exit 52).

Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles involved in the incident: a blue Suzuki motorcycle, a silver Hyundai sedan, and a white Chevrolet SUV. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fortunately, the operators of the sedan and SUV were not injured in the collision.

MDTA Police are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or observed any of the vehicles prior to the incident is encouraged to contact the MDTA Police at 410-537-1209.
