Investigation Launched into Alleged Misconduct at Hagerstown Prison

The Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is conducting a joint investigation with the Maryland State Police into alleged misconduct at the Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown.

This probe follows the discovery of an inmate's body in his cell on May 20. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Colin Wolf.

Officials have indicated that the investigation is focused on potential criminal misconduct by correctional officers and other staff members at the facility. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, further details have not been disclosed.
