Investigation Underway Following Discovery of Deceased Individual in Southwest Baltimore

Baltimore police are conducting an investigation after a deceased person was discovered on Thursday evening in the southwest part of the city.

Officers responded to a call reporting a dead on arrival at approximately 6:40 p.m. They found an unresponsive individual at 1116 Wicomico Street.

The medical examiner's office has been notified and will be tasked with determining the cause of death.

At this stage, no further details have been released by the authorities.
