BALTIMORE — A shooting incident in west Baltimore resulted in the death of a man on Tuesday evening, as confirmed by the Baltimore Police Department.

Officers arrived at the scene on the 1300 block of Stockton Street around 7:35 p.m. in response to reports of gunfire.

Upon their arrival, they discovered an unidentified male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The man was quickly transported to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

In the wake of the incident, homicide detectives have initiated an investigation to gather more information regarding the shooting.
