Authorities in Laurel, Maryland, are on the lookout for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on May 5, during a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
Michael Dennah, 24, has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree attempted murder and second-degree attempted murder, as well as various firearms-related charges.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire near Amigos Mexican Grill, where three individuals were found with gunshot wounds. Subsequent review of surveillance footage allowed police to identify Dennah as the alleged shooter.
As of now, Dennah remains at large, and the Laurel Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward. Individuals can contact the department at 301-498-0092.
In a separate incident on the same night, two people were injured in a domestic-related stabbing within the same shopping center. Shon Cook Jr., 26, has been charged in relation to that stabbing. Authorities have stated that the two incidents are unrelated.
