Firefighters were dispatched at approximately 6:37 p.m. to 2203 Langley Street after reports of a fire. Upon arrival, crews found an exterior blaze that had begun spreading to a two-story building.

BCFD officials confirmed the presence of gasoline and propane at the scene, raising concerns about hazardous materials. The fire was classified as a two-alarm incident, indicating a significant level of response.

The BCFD worked to contain and control the fire, and as of the latest updates, no injuries have been reported. The Maryland Department of the Environment has been called to the scene to assist with the hazardous materials involved.

While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, initial reports suggested that it was fueled by gas. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large column of smoke rising from the area, visible from various parts of the city.
