A serious accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of Reisterstown Road, where a Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus collided with seven vehicles and crashed into a building.

In response to the incident, a medevac helicopter and a Shock Trauma GoTeam were dispatched to assist with the critically injured. A total of 33 patients were transported to local hospitals, with at least one person reported to be in critical condition.
The rescue operation concluded by 7:18 p.m. on Wednesday, with all patients successfully evacuated from the area. Additionally, a building engineer was called to assess the structural safety of the impacted building.
Authorities are advising drivers to avoid the area due to ongoing investigations and cleanup efforts, which are expected to result in extended road closures along Reisterstown Road.
