An 85-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred on Monday in Odenton. Thomas Knuckey was driving with his wife, Amelia Knuckey, when their vehicle was struck head-on by another car.
Amelia Knuckey, also 85, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Thomas Knuckey was hospitalized following the incident but passed away on Wednesday.
The crash is currently under investigation by local authorities. Preliminary findings suggest that the driver of the other vehicle, a 62-year-old woman, may have lost control while navigating a curve in the road. She was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive her injuries.
