More than 30 individuals suffered injuries on Wednesday when a Maryland Transit Administration bus crashed into a building in Pikesville, just outside Baltimore. Among the injured, one person was critically hurt and had to be extricated from the bus.
The incident occurred on Reisterstown Road, where the bus's collision also involved several civilian vehicles, including at least one that overturned. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene promptly to assist those affected.
Authorities reported that one individual was trapped within the bus, while another was rescued from a vehicle nearby. A building engineer was called to assess the structural integrity of the site following the crash.
