Baltimore Police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying a group of six individuals involved in a violent robbery attempt against an elderly man outside a 7-Eleven store.
The incident occurred on July 7 at approximately 3:46 a.m. in the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, situated in the Liberty Square neighborhood of north Baltimore.
According to police reports, the victim, a 74-year-old man, was assaulted by the suspects, who are described as young males. Surveillance footage released by authorities shows one suspect brandishing a gray assault-style rifle, while another wielded a sword. The video also captures the suspects throwing various items at the victim during the attack.
