STEVENSVILLE, Md. — The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a woman linked to a series of fraud attempts across banks on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
On July 3, the suspect was seen at the First National Bank in Stevensville, where she tried to cash a stolen check exceeding $9,000. Notably, she did not present any identification during this transaction.
Bank employees recognized her from previous incidents involving similar fraudulent activities, including one that occurred earlier on the same day.
